The participants in this program progress through two levels and will learn the fundamental dinghy sailing skills. The participants will build confidence on-water and confidence in themselves, plus they’ll have lots of fun! The program is designed to give the sailors time to develop the foundation sailing skills, build friendships and learn lots.

Session time is: 9 am - 12.00 pm.

How to Register

Fees

Registration Fee: $400, which includes:

  • Use of Club dinghies for the whole program
  • Club lifejackets
  • The Australian Sailing Participant Course fee
  • Qualified instructors and assistants.

The Australian Sailing Course fee enables the young sailors to fully participate in the Australian Sailing programs, for their progress through the program to be followed, and for the attainment of recognition of their progress. This also ensures that the number of participants at any time is appropriate for the level of supervision.

Once the program has commenced, the club will not be able to refund the course fee if the sailor cannot participate in the program.

There is a helpful handbook on the FYC website where you can learn more about the club and its Junior & Youth Sail Training Program.
