Welcome to our 80th Season of Celebrations
Frankston Yacht Club (FYC) was founded in 1937 by a group of yachting enthusiasts operating out of Kananook Creek. Since its inception, the Club has maintained a policy of promoting yachting in the area of Port Phillip and, as a result, the Club has prospered and grown to be some 200 members strong today.
FYC runs a range of activities for the whole family. Providing Learn2Sail classes for beginner and intermediate level sailors and have expanded our membership to include categories for SUP (stand up paddle boarding), Kayaking. We have also welcomed the Mornington Peninsula Triathlon Club to share our facilities and join in with our activities.

Learning to sail is a great way to increase life skills such as communication, self-reliance, teamwork, problem solving and self confidence. FYC offers LearnSail for both Beginners and more advance sailors of all ages.
Programs run from October till March each season.

FYC function room is located on the lower level of the Frankston Yacht Club building, providing views of the lights of Melbourne by night and the sweeping vistas towards Portarlington by day through the full-length windows and deck access.
Finding the right sporting and social club for yourself and your family can be a hard decision, but you can’t go pass a membership at Frankston Yacht Club.
We cater for sailing members, as well as opportunities for Kayak, SUP and other water sport activities.
We also have storage facilities for Members.
